How often should I clean or replace the filters?

How to clean the unit surface and air quality indicator
To clean the unit surface:
- Use a clean, dry cloth to wipe the external surfaces of the air purifier.
- Use a damp cloth to remove stubborn stains and dirty buildup if necessary.
- Avoid commercial cleaning products which may damage the unit's surface.
- Clean the air intake and outlet with a dry cloth or vacuum clean.
To clean the air quality sensors:
- Remove the front panel.
- Remove the sponge inside the particle sensor compartment.
- Rinse or wash the sponge with dish soap and water. make sure the sponge is completely dry before putting it back into the particle sensor compartment.
- Use a dry cotton swab to brush against the tiny grid in front of the odor sensor to remove any dust or large sized-particles that may be trapped inside.
How to clean the Pre-Filter
Vacuum method:
- Remove the front panel from the air purifier.
- Run a vacuum cleaner with a nozzle or brush attachment on low power setting along the filter to remove visible particles.
Washing method:
- Remove the Pre-Filter from the unit.
- Fill the sink with lukewarm water to gently wash the Pre-Filter under the water for 2-3 minutes or until it is completely clean.
- Rinse the Pre-Filter with clean tap water.
- Use a towel to remove any excess water from the Pre-Filter.
- Allow the Pre-Filter to dry for 12-24 hours.
- When the Pre-Filter is completely dry, place back into the air purifier.
How to clean the BioGS HEPA filter
Vacuum method:
- Run a vacuum cleaner with a nozzle or brush attachment on low power setting along the front of the filter to pick up the dust and various particles.
Note: HEPA filter cannot be washed.
How to clean the Charcoal-Based Activated Carbon Filter
Vacuum method:
- Remove the front panel from the air purifier.
- Run a vacuum cleaner with a nozzle or brush attachment on low power setting along the AC filter to remove visible particles.
Washing method:
- Rinse filter in sink with room temperature water. Please do not use soap.
- Use towel to remove any excess water from the filter.
- Allow the filter to dry for 24-48 hours.
- When the AC filter is completely dry, place back inside the air purifier.
How to reset the Filter Cleaning/Filter Replacement Indicator
- Remove front panel.
- Make sure the unit is in Auto Mode or on low speed.
- Locate the filter reset button, which is on the left side of the display screen.
- Press and hold the filter reset button for three seconds, or until the Filter Cleaning/Filter Replacement Indicator clears itself.
